Paper Water Balloons
Ready to cool off? Learn how origami can transform a traditional water balloon fight into splashy, eco-friendly family fun (without the rubber balloon clean-up!).
Materials you’ll need
- regular printer paper
- water
- scissors
Tips and tricks
- If you’re using regular printer paper, you’ll need to trim it to a square like we did in the video. Or you can use a large square of origami paper if you have one
- As you fold, press firmly on the crease. Clean, sharp folds are easier to assemble into the balloon.
- The balloon is just paper, so water will soak through if you hold onto it for too long.
- Finally, we recommend filling and throwing them outside!
